Overview

Our department is one of the ministries of help in S.I.C.M to assist in the effective ministration and the fulfillment of the corporate vision of the Church. We believe that security, safety, tranquility and orderliness are vital ingredients for effective worship in the Lord’s house.

Mode of Operation

The department operates in three main areas.

1. Ushering
2. Security; regular checks on parked cars.
3. Car Parking; ensuring that cars are parked orderly.

Ushering

These are the main aims of our Ushering team:

• Maintaining order whilst the service is in progress.
• Respond politely, lovingly to questions and queries from the congregation.
• Making sure people are in a safe and secure environment.
• Distribution of all church materials, i.e. newsletters, bulletins, offering envelopes.
• Seating people in God’s house.
