- Encouraging recognition and expression of emotion.
- Giving support in times of need.
- Teaching responsibilities, instilling insight. and guiding as decisions are made.
- Helping mobilise inner and environmental resources in times of crisis.
- Teaching problem solving skills.
- Helping people increase competence and “Self-actualisation”.
- Stimulating spiritual growth.
- Encouraging confession of Sin and the experience of Divine Forgiveness.
- Helping people to model Christian Standard, attitude, values and lifestyles.
- Presenting the Gospel message.
- Encouraging commitment to Jesus Christ.
Mode of Operation
The ministry operates in three main arrears:
- One-to-one Counselling
- Seminars and Teaching for the whole church.
- Interactive Counselling – where groups of people with similar situations are brought together to exchange ideas and support each other.
We deal with:
Family issues including;
- Premarital
- Marital problems
- Family relationship issues etc.
Identity issues including;
- Physical illness
- Grief
- Singleness
- Choosing a marriage partner etc.
Personal issues including;
- Anxiety
- Loneliness
- Depression
- Anger and Guilt
Developmental Issues including;
- Child rearing and Parental guidance
- Adolescence
- Young adulthood
- Middle age and later years.
Salvation and Victorious Christian Living including;
- Receiving Jesus Christ as personal saviour
- Assurance of Salvation and Walking with God
